Spacewalk Preparations
The Expedition 75 crew aboard the International Space Station is continuing preparations for the second and final spacewalk in a two-part series designed to upgrade the station's power generation system. The orbital residents are carefully inspecting suits and gear to ensure mission success.
Orbital Science and Cargo Operations
Alongside spacewalk preparations, the crew members remain active in conducting various microgravity research experiments. Simultaneously, they are managing cargo transfer operations, moving gear and scientific payloads to and from an arrived U.S. cargo spacecraft.
Securing Station Infrastructure
These power system upgrades aim to reliably meet the growing energy demands of the station during its extended operational life. Completing this final spacewalk ensures uninterrupted scientific research and supports efficient orbital logistics for upcoming missions.
