Social Dialogue for the Future Collider

The public consultation process aimed at engaging with local communities for CERN's Future Circular Collider (FCC) project has come to an end. Launched in the spring, this four-month period enabled direct dialogue and interaction with local populations.

Exercises Tailored to Host States

The consultation process consisted of two distinct exercises specifically tailored to each of CERN's two Host States. The process was formally completed on 1 October in France and on 2 October in Switzerland.

Regional Engagement and Project Steps

This direct interaction with communities in the Host States ensures that major research infrastructure plans are shared transparently with the region. The outcomes from four months of dialogue are expected to inform the upcoming phases of the project.
