Week Starts with Spacewalk Preps and Life Science

Station Operations and Mission Preparations

The Expedition 75 crew aboard the International Space Station (ISS) began the week by balancing scientific research with technical mission preparation. At the start of the week, astronauts focused their research efforts on life science experiments to study biological processes in microgravity.

Spacewalk to Upgrade Power System

Alongside their biology research, the crew is actively preparing for a spacewalk scheduled for Thursday. This spacewalk marks the second in the final series of spacewalks aimed at upgrading the International Space Station's power generation system.

Mission Purpose and Next Steps

These technical upgrades to the station's power infrastructure are essential for supporting long-term orbital laboratory operations. The crew is completing equipment checks and procedure reviews to ensure full readiness ahead of Thursday's spacewalk.
