Do we know how many Starship launches SpaceX will need to get NASA astronauts to the moon? No. Will its refuelling plan be simple? Also no.

Moon Mission Plans

NASA's Artemis IV moon mission will be complex if SpaceX's Starship is used as the lunar lander. This mission aims to send humans to the moon's surface and Starship will play a significant role.

Refuel Flights

Starship will need an unknown number of refuel flights in two separate orbits for the moon mission. This is critical for the mission's success and means that SpaceX's refueling plan will not be simple.

Future Steps

Moon mission plans will become clearer in the future. NASA and SpaceX will continue to work together for the mission's success and share details about using Starship as the lunar lander.
